Cupping

Cupping is a type of therapy in which suction is applied to the skin to promote blood circulation, which in turn promotes cell repair and regeneration. It accomplishes this by loosening connective tissue (fascia) and allowing stimulated blood to flow to the surface. Cupping therapy has numerous advantages, including pain relief and muscle relaxation.

It is now widely used as complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Cupping is safe and can be used to complement what you are doing in your physical therapy routine.
